Knifewear Shirozumi Eucalyptus Charcoal 2.5kg
Finally, a sustainable charcoal that burns super hot for a long time! Shirozumi Eucalyptus Charcoal is made using the same techniques as the legendary Binchotan, but fast-growing Eucalyptus wood makes it very sustainable and affordable. Less dense than binchotan, it is somewhat easier to light and burns intensely for 3-4 hours, perfect for backyard grilling or even dinner service.
- Carbon Content: 90%
- Burn Time: 3-4 hours
- No flame and very little smoke.
- Eucalyptus - super fast growing and sustainable wood source.
- Made in Vietnam.
TIPS FOR STARTING:
- Place your binchotan on a bed of already lit softer charcoal like the ogatan or even lump charcoal if you have it.
- Make sure that your coal is neatly placed in the chimney starter, all running in the same direction, and place the whole thing on a propane burner for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Use a hair dryer, fan, or shop-vac to blow air on the coals like a blacksmith’s bellows.
Due to international shipping regulations, we cannot send charcoal to customers outside of Canada. We apologise for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, Konro Grills and Charcoal are not eligible for our $3 shipping offer.
